Due to the extension of the Covid regulations the SBFMV CIO trustees who own and operate Shirley’s 1857 Bone and Flint Mill have regretfully decided it will be unsafe to allow the public to visit the mill and museum. The rooms are small and the required social distancing between different visitor groups and volunteers is very difficult. They apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this difficult decision may cause.

The Visitor Centre will provide access to the toilet facilities for baby change, disabled and carers. Portaloo toilets will also be available on site.
