Etruria Boat Gathering
On 10th and 11th July 2021 this historic boat gathering provides the chance to see some historic narrow boats moored by the Caldon canal and talk to their owners. Entrance to the Festival is free. Site open 11.00 to 17.00
The museum and mill will not be open to the public and the mill will NOT be in steam.

The event will be centred on an historic narrowboat gathering, alongside family friendly activities, and a selection of craft stalls and exhibitors.

Free craft activities to take part in-these designed in the form of individual kits for households groups. These include coil pot making, weaving, and pebble decorating.
Artist Blacksmith Demonstrations in the Forge.

Due to the extension of the Covid regulations the SBFMV CIO trustees who own and operate Shirley’s 1857 Bone and Flint Mill have regretfully decided it will be unsafe to allow the public to visit the mill and museum. The rooms are small and the required social distancing between different visitor groups and volunteers is very difficult. They apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this difficult decision may cause.
The Visitor Centre will provide access to the toilet facilities for baby change, disabled and carers. Portaloo toilets will also be available on site.
